Hollywood and Television Programming No Longer Resonate
Ian Carroll, an influencer on social media who wages storytelling against the elite forces of globalism released a video in January 2024 citing hard evidence that by every metric, viewership and spending over the last decade is in steep decline across Hollywood at-the-movies, cable, streaming, the corporate news media, sports, and even the music industry. To what can we own this to? The Great Awakening. Empowered by the Internet.
As more of humanity awakens, the awareness that our old-world reality is all just an illusion and that Hollywood content served to take us deeper into the illusion is snapping us out of our co-dependencies on the fantasy, escapism, and living vicariously through the glamorous characters used to sell the illusion. As we accept all that is with this Great Shift, the paradox of Hollywood presents itself:
The new paradigm must go against the old-world filmmaking industry
as the means of preserving filmmaking
as a source of light and inspiration for the newly evolving human.
As we see the power, money, and control systems behind the Hollywood machine collapse, and the dark, heartbreaking disclosures about celebrities come to light, we have only a small remnant of the filmmaking industry worthy of rescuing – the middle - the actual nuts-and-bolts technical process of filming an audio-visual story commercially for distribution or broadcast.
The bookends of filmmaking – the storytelling templates for current genres of the old world and the business of filmmaking and distribution models that flank this middle are struggling as the new paradigm, living in the hearts of humanity, begins to supersede old.
The Great Shift Is Shifting Hollywood Audiences
The Great Shift upon us is not only universal, but also personal. It is our own divine, cosmic plot twist playing out now – each and every one of us - moving to a reality on the other side of our dark, chaotic world veil. Perhaps since 2012, humanity began awakening to the idea that we have been captive, addicted even to our screens that poured a continuous stream of programming, mind control content, and advertising that kept us in a state of tension between our conscious belief that we were simply seeking entertainment in our viewing pleasures, not realizing the subconscious programming chiseled away at our spirit selves, our true Divine centeredness.
In synchronistic fashion, Hollywood took a pause at the end of 2023 due to the writer and actor strikes. Although we don’t have enough distance from this to be certain, this may serve as the beginning of the end for the old Material World era of Hollywood. Fewer and fewer people go to the movies. People are turning off their T.V.’s finally, discontented with the content being released. As disclosures about the off-screen realities of our most revered film makers and celebrities become public, we see through the illusion. We are shocked and frustrated and grieving, the kind of grieving that follows great betrayal. We were frogs in the pot who didn’t sense the water was getting really hot and we couldn’t see whose proverbial hand was on the burner knob continually turning up the heat. Until now.
A Look At The Era We Are Entering
We have left the low conscious frequencies of the Material Age where all our reality systems programmed humanity for struggle, separation, competition, hate, violence, lack, and scarcity. Hollywood amplified and mirrored all of it. This is over now.
The new consciousness is here.
Thus, we are here to witness the most amazing show on earth – the rise of consciousness once again. The fog is clearing allowing a deeper, higher conscious innerstanding of our true nature, including moving beyond the physical body as our primary aspect into our spiritual bodies where we hold wisdom, truth and guidance within, no longer looking to external influencers or saviors outside of ourselves.
In this new era, Hollywood will no longer push content out to feed their money and power agenda. The people will shape the new paradigm of filmmaking by asking for what they desire and responding favorably to movies and content that reflect their journeys, resonating with models of living in wholly different ways.
Reflecting Light:
What is profoundly different about Conscious Living genre from existing Hollywood genres is not so much in the plot lines, but in the storytelling. Stories that speak to spirit and guide the soul, never to trigger or tempt the ego, can’t deceive, can’t program, can’t scare, can’t fool, anyone. The higher self knows.

Meet Marilyn
Once upon a time there was a little girl from a small town and humble beginnings who grew up with her eye on the promises of the American Dream, a reality that had been out of reach for her parents: Study hard, get good grades in school, go to college, land a great job and work hard in her career, make lots of money. She did it all. A real gritty and wonderous rags to riches story. As providence would have it, she lost it all, including her husband to divorce, in the aftermath of the global financial collapse in 2008/09. Her prayers to wake up from the nightmare returned an answer that she could not ignore and finally accepted –
“I have something else planned for you.”
It would take seven years before she realized this downfall was a divine pause, providing the first spark of her awakening. Still, she remained unaware that she like all of humanity was experiencing the end of one cosmic era and the start of the new Golden Age. Her journey has included deep, personal healing from things of her past; detachment from the things of the material world; working in a job that provided enough to meet all her needs, including flexibility needed as a single mom; risking everything she had built back towards proverbial retirement to create an energy medicine/alternative wellness center - to see it close down one month after opening due to the pandemic lockdowns; the curiosity to seek truth about what was happening in our world, in all our systems that kept moving the world and humanity into the dark recesses of reality. All of it was necessary for her to discover “Who Am I?” Why Am I Here?
Of course, this is a highlight reel of my story. How do you do? My name is Marilyn Lynch. I meet you here as I enter another chapter of my life, beckoned to use my gifts to venture with others in creating a new paradigm for filmmaking.
There is remarkable clarity that comes with viewing the world and ourselves from perspectives we haven’t before considered, until that internal spark from the divine and the Company of Heaven lights the fire for the quest. Never in my dreams would my younger self have guessed I would be out front with others seeking the amazing possibilities to assist humanity in this unprecedented time through building a new paradigm for filmmaking.
This sweet note came into my orbit when I began the project of writing the book - Screenwriting For Conscious Living, A New Genre for Film & T.V. Storytelling, to encourage me to take the next step and the next, trusting that there are others out there who also desire to fulfill their mission as artisans and architects of the new world by creating a whole new paradigm in filmmaking. Perhaps you’ll find this encouraging too!

Trust me when I say that there are incredible, beautiful souls out there who are creating a new world. They do not live in fear. It does not even enter their mind. They are vibrant, magnetic, humans that are creating magic in this world. When you meet one, you’ll know. Picture the life you want, release fear, raise your vibration, elevate.
