When some early settlers landed on America’s shores, they were met by a Native American Shaman. Looking at the small boat that brought the men to shore, the Shaman was confused about how they had sailed safely in such a small boat. The captain of the larger ship anchored in deeper waters just off-shore pointed to the ship to explain they had sailed the long voyage on that sea-worthy vessel. But the Shaman didn’t see the ship. He had no concept of the large vessel. He, nor anyone in his tribe had ever seen anything like it.
Innately knowing how consciousness works, the Shaman stared out into the open waters for a time until the contours of the vessel began to take shape. After a longer time of focus and concentration, the vessel fully appeared to him.
Even more spectacular, soon the image of the ship was seeded in the consciousness of the tribe who were close by, but not on the shore at the time.
This is an enlightening story that Gregg Braden, author + carrier of Native American legends, handed down in his book – The Isaiah Effect. We reflect on this story to help us remember how Native American dwellers of our sacred land learned and lived … Conscious Living.
‘Can You See The Ship’ serves as one of Conscious Living’s anchor posts. It’s our way of checking in with readers, signaling many of our topics are truly known via the portals of higher consciousness. A grand metaphor.
And to the point - the future topic of Divine Intelligence that is preparing to appear here in the context of - Divine Intelligence vs. Artificial Intelligence - we will most definitely be compelled to ask the metaphor-loaded question - Can You See The Ship? It may take a minute, but we’ll get there!
Embrace yourself,
